Pauline Jen is a multidisciplinary designer, having studied a Bachelor of Design in graphics, textiles and jewellery at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW. She started out in print design but quickly embraced all things digital transitioning to a UI designer working across different platforms. She found herself increasingly assigned UX roles along the way, creating wireframes, prototypes, presentations and interaction models culminating in taking the UXD course at General Assembly. She has emerged as a UI and UX designer who still likes to take on commissions for jewellery and art projects in her spare time. She has experience working across banking, insurance and commercial business sectors.
You will often find her communicating an idea to someone with a frenzied passion, wildly moving her arms around sketch-noting, acting out a scenario or user interview response to a slightly bewildered and engaged audience. She likes procrasti-bake when it’s cold outside and making things with her hands.
