Educator and Product Manager – passionate about getting people the skills they need to solve the problems of the world.
Mark is the end-to-end product owner of General Assembly's part-time Product Management, User Experience Design, Visual Design, and Digital Marketing courses. As Product Manager of these courses, he’s directly responsible for ensuring they have a strong product-market fit and is accountable for their success metrics including growth, quality, and revenue. He defines their vision, manages their roadmaps, and works cross-functionally with globally distributed sales, marketing, and production teams.
Prior to General Assembly, Mark worked at Babson College, where he drove product vision for Babson’s online and blended learning programs from research and ideation through to design and delivery. While he was at Babson, he got an MBA in Managing the Technology-Intensive Enterprise (MTIE).
In his spare time, Mark loves biking around NYC, rock climbing at Brooklyn Boulders, and cooking fancy meals.
Fun note – before starting at General Assembly, Mark took GA’s Product Management course ("I’m not just the president of Hair Club for Men, I’m also a client!”)
In this ten-week course, students will learn to navigate the product cycle, from evaluating users and managing a roadmap to creating an MVP and developing metrics.
