Marcus Lofthouse is the Director of User Experience at Yodle, a leader in local online advertising. He oversees the team of visual designers, interaction designers, and front-end developers, creating user experiences for products ranging from customer dashboards and internal tooling to mobile applications. Marcus holds a Masters in Information Architecture and Knowledge Management from Kent State University, and has assembled and managed user experience teams at TuneCore and Mandiant. In his spare time he studies metaphor theory, cognition and perception, behavioral economics, and anything else that provides insight into how people interact with, think about, and experience the world.
