A recent NYC transplant from Pittsburgh, Lara is a freelance web designer, developer, and instructor. She recognizes the importance of self-taught technical skills, and in her teaching works to give students the tools to continue learning on a need-to-know basis.
In addition to her freelancing, Lara works part-time for the Institute of Play at Quest to Learn, a public middle/high school that is reinventing education through game-like learning.
Lara has a B.F.A. from Tufts University's School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and loves coffee, pastries, skiing, and co-working.
