Kevin is Associate Dean for Educational Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Washington and Founding Director of the Center for 21st Century Liberal Learning (C21). When not buried under long job titles, he leads C21’s work to build a college experience that makes intellectual engagement a real world practice. A sociologist by training, Kevin has studied and taught widely, from sociology of culture, learning, social psychology, and research methods, to computer simulation in metatheory (seriously), and has led multiple UW study abroad programs to Spain and Japan.
