Joanna Kirtley is a Design Thinking Strategist for Capital One, where she creates design thinking training experiences and coaches project teams on using the design thinking process to develop new products and services. Prior to Capital One, she worked for two leading design strategy consultancies, Jump Associates and Continuum. In her work as a consultant, she mapped out opportunity spaces and designed products and services for companies like Target, PepsiCo, HP, and FedEx. Joanna has a B.S. in Product Design from Stanford (what she likes to call "d.school before the d.school existed"), and loves making crafts and cooking on her days off. Joanna lives in DC with her husband Tyler and golden retriever Hinckley.
