Co-Organizer of Boston PHP Meetup, a 3,400-member professional organization dedicated to continuing education, Gene is a well-known mentor in the Boston web development community committed to helping others develop their skills. Most recently he taught Front-End Web Development at Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA). He is also the creator of three virtual self-study groups: PHP Percolate!, jQuery jAM and HTML5 Brunch. Gene is a graduate of Penn State and Purdue University.
