Dmitry Koltunov, CFA has over a decade of experience in technology leadership, distributed software architecture, and enterprise development. He has served in various executive positions with leading global financial institutions and has been responsible for a number of multi-million dollar development projects.

Dmitry has a unique blend of corporate and startup experience. Prior to founding Collective Catalyst, Dmitry served as CTO of a fast growing SaaS Analytics provider focusing on on distributed computing and big data. Dmitry has also served as SVP of Front Office Development for one of the largest global Hedge Funds, where he built mission critical technology including the firm's global trading platform and quantitative risk analytics. He has championed standardization of algorithmic trading, and helped push the Institutional adoption of FixATDL.

Dmitry is an expert in identifying and developing talent, and has built a number of high caliber tech teams. He teaches a course on hiring engineers at General Assembly and serves as a mentor to various growing start-ups.

Dmitry earned a BSE in Computer Science as well as a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a graduate of the Startup Leadership Program.
