David is currently the Head of Product Strategy and Marketing for Equiem. Equiem is a 4 year-old startup (one of the first tenants at York Butter Factory) that has disrupted the property industry and changed the way building managers communicate with their tenants and manage their building. As Equiem’s second employee outside of the CEO, David has played a pivotal role in growing the business from one client in Melbourne to having a national portfolio representing 7 of 9 major REIT’s in Australia.
At Equiem, David has been involved in all aspects of the business, with a particular focus on the product design and strategy. Starting out as a Digital Marketing Coordinator, he progressed to become the Head of Design and Product Development, and is now Head of Product Strategy and Marketing. Together with the CEO and other key personnel, today he helps shape the strategy and marketing of Equiem’s products.
David has also previously started two companies, Broccol-e-Games (now Redu.us), which was accepted into Angel Cube accelerator program and Shout Out Media, a digital agency. He has also previously been awarded $20,000 by NAB for a winning commercialisation project with CSIRO.
In this ten-week course, students will learn to navigate the product cycle, from evaluating users and managing a roadmap to creating an MVP and developing metrics.
