Dana Karwas is a media artist and educator working in interaction design and digital media. She has degrees in Architecture and Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) and has over ten years of experience in the classroom. She teaches Interaction Design at NYU Engineering, has a NYC history start-up called BLDG BLOK, and conducts research about the view of earth as seen from space. Dana has previously worked for clients including Maya Lin Studio, Knoll International, Moleskine, Esquire, Bitforms Gallery, Strawberry Frog, Wieden + Kennedy, Ogilvy & Mather, and the United Nations. Her work has been shown at the World Science Festival, Harvestworks, the Paley Center for Media, the Chelsea Art Museum, the Caracas Contemporary Art Museum, the London Festival of Architecture, the Boston Museum of Science, and at the DUMBO Arts Festival. Dana loves User Experience Design because it is about humans!
