Dan Klyn is co-founder and information architect at The Understanding Group, and teaches IA at the University of Michigan School of Information. Before co-founding TUG, Dan developed information architecture, e-commerce strategy and design for brands such as American Girl, Harley-Davidson, Brookstone, NOOMA and TJ Maxx and manufacturers including Herman Miller, Seagate and Lumber Liquidators. Elected to serve in 2010, Dan about to finish a 2-year term as Director of the Information Architecture Institute.
