Brand & Marketing, The Farm Project

Christian helms the Brand & Marketing teams at The Farm Project and their first initiative Lettuce Grow. Founded by Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik, The Farm Project’s motto is Know It or Grow It. They want to inspire people to ask the right questions when ordering or buying food – or to grow their own! Lettuce Grow will do just that. With aeroponic devices, a compelling digital ecosystem and 100% germinated live seedlings, Lettuce Grow will make growing more fun and easier than ever.

Christian is German, and thus naturally straight-forward and driven by efficiency (think Angela Merkel with a smile). He joined The Farm Project after having worked over 10 years in creative agencies all over the globe – from Germany to China and the US – developing brand strategies, campaigns and digital products for Fortune 500 companies. His last stop was at the global digital agency Edenspiekermann, where he ran their Los Angeles office as CEO.

Christian holds a degree in Economics from Berlin School of Economics, and his guilty pleasure is listening to Rascal Flatts.
