Cat Gelinas

New York City

Cat, a former teacher of 9 years, started her coding journey in 2012. She started with classes at NYU and then naturally made her way over to General Assembly where she took the Front-end web development course and subsequently freelanced and then worked at Barnes & Noble College in their e-Commerce department.
Deciding Front-End Web Development wasn't enough for her - she took GA's Web Development Immersive- and loved it! Which is why she joined the Back-End Web Development instructional team. In addition to loving coding and teaching - she's a huge Tango enthusiast, loves yoga, and running in Prospect Park - and basically anything that makes her laugh.
