Caroline Chubb Calderon

Managing Director, Switched on Partners LLC

New York City

Caroline is the founder and Managing Director of Switched On Partners. She works with C-‐level executives at some of the world’s most remarkable organizations – such as IBM, Time Warner Inc., Emirates Airlines, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, UBS, Mahindra, Unilever, GAP Inc. among others – at the intersection of culture, strategy and innovation. She advises clients on how to create organizations that are unceasingly inventive, genuinely inspiring, future-‐proofed and poised for growth. Her work is driven by four remarkably simple yet steadfast beliefs:
• Passion is profit
• Culture eats strategy for lunch
• Innovation is our lifeblood
• Customers are co-‐creators
Prior to running her own business she used to be one of the leaders of the Innovation Culture and Capability practice at ?WhatIf! Innovation, the world’s largest independent innovation company. She honed her consulting skills as a Global Engagement Leader at Booz Allen Hamilton, a top strategy consulting firm, and at Sibson Consulting, a leading international Human Capital consulting firm specializing in organizational transformation, leadership development, strategy attainment and shaping and maintaining high-‐performance environments.
She is a frequent keynote speaker at client events and has guest lectured at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business on the topics of leadership, culture change, innovation and future trends. She has contributed to two books: Evolutionary Leadership and Contagious Success both authored by Susan Annunzio. Her programs have won internationally recognized awards such as the Dalton Pen Award of Excellence, the CIPRA Award of Excellence, and the Telly Award.
Caroline holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in Strategy, Marketing and Organizational Behavior and a BA in Psychology from Dartmouth College. She speaks 5 languages; has lived in or traveled to just about all the world's continents; loves clashing seemingly disparate worlds to gain new insights (ask her about her work with a hostage negotiator); and respects a lucid, open mind. On most weekends, you’ll find her chasing after her kids, dog, husband, laughter and sunshine.
