Aza Steele
Aza Steel is the 25-year-old co-founder and CEO of GoGuardian, an education software company that keeps students safe when they’re online, helps teachers engage with their students, and provides schools with better control over how technology is used. Aza started the company looking to create a theft recovery solution for his laptop, and expanded features based on feedback from educators who were using an early version of the product.
Aza was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Education list in 2016. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from UCLA, where he co-founded the Random Acts of Kindness Club, and was involved with multiple extracurricular and philanthropic organizations. Aza enjoys surfing, playing soccer, and snowboarding in his free time.
