Anand Chopra-McGowan looks after business development and corporate relations at General Assembly, a global network of campuses providing opportunity and education in technology, design and entrepreneurship. Anand is responsible for creating and developing GA’s enterprise relationships, ranging from executive education to co-produced courses, sponsorships, and global partnerships.
Anand also serves on the faculty at GA, teaching classes on sales and business development for startups.
Prior to General Assembly, Anand led a number of business development initiatives at SCVNGR, a location-based mobile marketing startup funded by Google Ventures, and at The Ad Club, New England’s trade association for the marketing and advertising industry.
Anand grew up in Dehradun, India, and graduated from Boston University’s College of Communication in 2007. At BU he was President of AdLab, a student-run advertising agency, and BU AdClub, the University’s college chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
