Aaron Schumacher
Data Scientist, Booz Allen Hamilton
Aaron Schumacher uses data science to understand and improve the world. He evaluated models and built data systems for the New York City Department of Education, taught and consulted on statistical programming with New York University's Data Services, and is currently a staff data scientist with a major DC consulting firm. He has built web-based data visualization prototypes including one for the UK's Department of Health, and was a member of a winning team at the inaugural Datathon hosted by the Institute for Public Knowledge. Aaron is also active with Data Community DC and Code for DC, working primarily on projects involving education data.
