Aaron Holiday is the Managing Entrepreneurial Officer at Cornell Tech in NYC. Aaron works in tandem with Greg Pass (Chief Entrepreneurial Officer at Cornell Tech and former CTO of Twitter) to build and manage an innovative organization that is responsible for the commercialization and mass productization of deeply technical breakthrough research, startup formation, and the implementation of new degree programs (i.e. tech focused MBA, Masters in Connected Media, Master of Engineering in Computer Science, etc.)

Aaron has worked with over 40 startup companies on business model formation, access to capital, and growth strategies. The companies that Aaron has advised have gone on to premier Accelerator programs such as ER Accelerator, Y-Combinator, Tech Stars, and DreamIT Ventures. Additionally, since summer 2012, Aaron has helped 7 startups raise more than $10M in seed stage capital.

Prior to becoming a valuable asset to the NYC startup and venture capital ecosystem, Aaron spent 6 years on Wall Street building advanced financial trading technology for Goldman Sachs and GFI Group. Aaron also worked with the CEO and COO of Blip.TV, a venture capital backed startup company, and was the former head of BR Venture Fund, Cornell’s seed-stage venture capital firm. Aaron worked part-time at DFJ Gotham Ventures and created/taught Essentials to Startup Formation, which has been taught to hundreds of east and west coast startup entrepreneurs.

Aaron earned his MBA from Cornell University and holds a BS in Computer Science from Morehouse College, where he was recognized as the most outstanding computer science student.
