We live in a world where sustainability is no longer a ‘nice to have’, it’s key to business success. A third of consumers are now choosing to buy from brands they believe are doing social or environmental good and 78% are demanding greater transparency as they navigate a post-truth era. The scorching summer has been a sharp wake-up call to the realities of a changing climate and Blue Planet II has sparked a wave of action on plastics - leaving laggard companies struggling to survive. If you’re not getting your house in order now, you’re at risk.
But how do you go about creating a sustainability strategy that actually delivers?
Join sustainability specialists Jessica Ferrow and Sasha Fox from Kin&Co as they talk you through the five stages of creating a winning sustainability strategy. This highly interactive workshop will include practical exercises to bring essential steps such as issue selection, materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement to life in a fun and playful way. You will leave buzzing with ideas for how to take your project forward in your own company.
This class is aimed at businesses of all sizes who are starting out on their sustainability journey, or are looking for a refresh of their existing strategy. It is aimed at sustainability managers, company leaders and managers or anyone with the responsibility of implementing a sustainability programme in their company.
This is an entry-level class, so no previous experience of sustainability is required. However, it will also be beneficial for businesses who have already embarked on their sustainability journey.
Please bring an inquiring mind and a willingness to get involved in the practical exercises. We promise they’ll be fun!
