About this event

Hosted via Google Meets

You've heard of coding, but it looks kind of complex, and you don't know where to begin. Or perhaps you've been game enough to try, you've downloaded an editor, wrote a few lines, but you're a bit confused. Maybe you're already well on your way, and just want to spend time in a happy community of developers (and want to share your passionate distaste of Internet explorer). Whatever you're level, this is the place for you...

We run this meetup every week through General Assembly (220 King St W, 3rd Floor) in Toronto. Bring your laptop, a coffee, and come code in a relaxed and open setting with other developers. For those just starting out, there are mentors who will guide you from the very beginning, and train you each week to become a better web developer. For the more advanced, this is a great opportunity for you to learn more about new and upcoming technologies, contribute by helping and mentoring, or have your question about that weird bug answered.

We focus mainly on web development, which includes (but not limited to!) HTML, CSS, Javascript, React and Node.js. Don't worry if you don't know what any of these are, you'll soon pick it up 😀

So come down this Saturday with your laptop (don't forget your charger ⚡️!) and join us in building for on the web and growing as people!
