Virtual Panel & Free Film Screening: Bias Documentary | Online

About this event

We are revamping the MeetUp that had to be postponed in March and are doing a free virtual film screening of Bias followed by a virtual panel event on October 28th.

Once registered, we will be providing attendees with a link & password to access the film and watch it at their own time (NOTE:access to the film expires after 24 hours and caps at a max of views). We will host a panel discussion to discuss the film and key takeaways.

In partnership with Elevate Change, a group of Diversity & Inclusion community leaders, Women In Tech Denver MeetUp is happy to announce this virtual film screening of the Bias Film Documentary. Tickets are free but email is required to receive tickets. Due to registration limitations if you are unable to attend please edit your confirmation asap so we can release your ticket for others.

Description of Movie: If you're human, you're biased. Now what?

Bias is a film that challenges us to confront our hidden biases and understand what we risk when we follow our gut. Through exposing her own biases, award-winning documentary filmmaker Robin Hauser highlights the nature of implicit bias, the grip it holds on our social and professional lives, and what it will take to induce change.
