About This Workshop

As technology changes and more media outlets compete for customers’ time, providing an enjoyable experience is critical to both attracting and keeping users. This class aims to demystify UX by giving a practical and simple introduction to what UX is while also explaining some of its core concepts of usability. This is a field that affects all areas of business — prepare to dip your toes into an ocean of new concepts and ideas that will enlighten your perspective on user experience design.

*Half an hour will be allocated for lunch at 12:30pm. You have the option to pack a lunch, help yourself to our peanut butter and jelly sandwich bar, or find something in the vicinity.

Pauline is an Interaction Designer at Accenture Federal Services, where her work spans research, design, prototyping, and user testing. Her work has impacted numerous high profile clients, including Fortune 500 companies and international nonprofit organizations. Pauline studied Business Management, Marketing, and Psychology at George Mason University, and she completed post-graduate studies in User Experience Design at New York University and General Assembly’s User Experience Design Immersive (UXDI) program. She has a passion for understanding and shaping how people interact with technology. In her free time, Pauline enjoys origami, watching countless hours of HGTV and documentaries on Netflix, and looking for the next place to skydive.
