About this event

Beyond Director and Producer film sets large number of diverse jobs that require a diverse set of skills to pull off a successful production. And many of the skills that are needed in the film industry are directly transferable from other industries. In this panel discussion we'll take a look at the different roles within the film making industry both on set and off, and demystify terms like gaffer (electrician) or grip (lighting and rigging technician) through a panel discussion of local practitioners who'll share insight into what it's like to work in the film industry in Atlanta and explore some of the unexpected skills that are needed on a film set.
