About This Workshop

“Train your Head to Think on its Feet” is all about picking up speed in conversations and being able to build on others' ideas more consistently.

Hands on and interactive exercises, demonstrations and discussion designed to teach the tools and techniques of improv to help you communicate and listen more effectively, build off the ideas of others, work as a cohesive team and to think fast on their feet to just name a few.

Not only is this class extremely innovative and effective but it is also a great deal of fun.

About the Instructor

Python & Software Engineering Instructor,
General Assembly

Tyler Lane is a freelancer living in Austin. After graduating from Eckerd College with a degree in Computer Science they moved to Austin and have worked professionally as a software engineer for over five years.

Tyler has taught the Software Engineering Immersive course at General Assembly and currently teaches the part-time Python course. They also teach improv with Merlin Works. They are currently a producer for the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival and play guitar in an emo cover band called Grackle! at the Disco.

Tyler is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns!
