About this event

What does the future hold for the professional practice of marketing? What skills will marketing professionals need to have, and what are the current areas of expertise that will become obsolete in the not-too-distant future? How are forces like artificial intelligence, marketing automation, and, more broadly, technological advances shaping marketing practice now and – importantly – in the years to come?

Join General Assembly and the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School for an evening of debate about the future of the marketing profession with a panel of industry and academic experts. While the future is inherently unpredictable, one certainty is that tomorrow’s marketing will not be the same as it is today. Smart marketers and executives are gearing up for the changes that are on the horizon, and this event will consider what those changes are going to be and, critically, how professionals can equip themselves and their teams with the right knowledge, mindsets, and skills to be well positioned for the future.
