Yoshi works with General Assembly to help students figure out the best next step they could take to upgrade or change their careers. He coaches through experience, being a career changer himself. A lifetime ago he hailed from the world of Financial Assurance and Chartered Accounting.
Aiming to break the barrier of time and space, Yoshi also founded Agincourt Virtual Reality to showcase cool venues and real estate around town. Think Google Maps, except in high definition, and if it actually runs smoothly... That means visitors and prospective customers can check out your space from anywhere, at any time.
Thireindar is currently working as a Data Scientist at CBA AI Labs with experience in customer, operations and pricing analytics. She has a background in Business Information Systems and started her analytics career in 2018 with CBA after completing Masters of Business Analytics at the University of Melbourne. Her strong passion for machine learning and knowledge sharing with the community led her to become a volunteer for Women in AI Myanmar Chapter and take part in Amazon Web Services’ Deepracer competitions in addition to her day to day work.
Charles Tan is Analytics Manager at Essence, a global data and measurement-driven media agency that is part of GroupM.
Since joining Essence in 2019, Charles has worked on multiple workstreams across marketing analytics, including campaign measurement for brand and performance advertising campaigns, analysis and optimisation, data engineering and pipeline building, and data modelling and predictive analytics. He started his career at a market research firm.
Charles first discovered his love for data and statistics at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. He is also an avid gamer and technology enthusiast. Other than eating, he enjoys playing video games, developing indie games, and engaging in data-related projects in his free time.
Elektra is a Data Scientist with over 5 years of experience predominately in Tech and Banking. She is currently at Atlassian which is an Australian Tech company that offers software to help organisation's teams and individuals work better together. As a Data Scientist, she is responsible for a product segment within Jira Software our largest product, where she uses analytics and data science to tell stories and solve problems. She specialises in advanced analytics, machine learning, big data, data manipulation and visualisation. Elektra commenced her career out of university at Commonwealth Bank of Australia as a Data Science Graduate and went to University of Technology, Sydney graduating in a Bachelor of Business (Finance) and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (Data Analytics).
