Tableau is an incredibly powerful tool for exploring and visualizing your data. Once people understand the power of Tableau they can quickly perform vital business analysis that would take 3-5x times as long with other software tools. When you are finished you’ll have a fully functional capability to harness Tableau’s native powers to aggregate, visualize, filter and segment your data in a way that will breathe new life into your organization.

This 6-hourTableau 1-Day Fundamentals Workshop is the interactive and hands-on way to get started on learning to visualize your data. You will dive head first into SQL, skill up with exercises, and by the end of the day you'll know how to re-create major charts and turn them into a functional, interactive dashboard.

• Fully understand the basics behind how Tableau structures its data and determines relationships between variables.
• Create almost all of Tableau’s primary chart types, as well as make modifications to them to better fit your own needs.
• Aggregate your charts into functional, interactive dashboards.
• Use advanced analytical techniques to add additional layers of insight into your data visualizations.

Wayne is a data analyst with Google’s Admob team, applying data science to drive developer acquisition at scale globally. Wayne is passionate about solving business problems using data and analytics techniques. He was previously with Unilever, where he was a pioneering member of the data science team there, developing analytics products for sales and finance teams across Southeast Asia. Wayne graduated from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Finance.
