Tableau is an incredibly powerful tool for exploring and visualising your data. Once people understand the power of Tableau they can quickly perform vital business analysis that would take 3-5x times as long with other software tools. When you are finished you’ll have a fully functional capability to harness Tableau’s native powers to aggregate, visualise, filter and segment your data in a way that will breathe new life into your organisation.
This 2-part Tableau Fundamentals Course is the interactive and hands-on way to get started on learning to visualise your data. You will dive head first into Tableau, skill up with exercises, and by the end of the day you'll know how to re-create major charts and turn them into a functional, interactive dashboard.
Please install Tableau Public or Tableau Desktop before class - you can find it here.
NOTE: this class will not be recorded, however, slides will be sent within 7 days following the session.
As a Solutions Architect at RBC Insurance, Chen works closely with senior leaders at RBC to build, test, and deploy innovative AI solutions for insurance products on the market. He is also a mentor at SharpestMinds, where he helps people transition into the field of Data Science.
Chen graduated with a BSc in Medical Science, and much of his training in data science and analytics are acquired during his postgrad studies and on the job. However, over the years, Chen not only published research in top-tier neuroscience journals, but has also built models that generated over 10 million dollars of profit.
