Nostalgic for snowday rerun marathons? Stay tuned for a handpicked lineup of some of our favorite livestreams to keep you entertained and productive while you’re stuck inside.

RAPID PROTOTYPING: FROM WIREFRAME TO HTML

Rapid prototyping helps you build a simple version of your product with only the most important elements to receive feedback early on. We’ll look at prototyping tools like: wireframing, Samantha Warren’s Style Tiles, Keynotopia and what I call “sketching with code”. Wait, so you’re saying you can create prototypes right in HTML? You betcha. And afterwards we’ll rapidly develop our prototype with Twitter Bootstrap. Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS would be helpful but not required.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT FOR NON-PRODUCT MANAGERS

Based on student submissions, learn how to work with designers or developers to successfully build digital products. Flesh out your ideas, identify risks, validate assumptions, and launch your first version. You'll also learn how to think about combining your long-term vision with key metrics to create a product roadmap once you've found product / market fit.

ESSENTIALS OF CROWDFUNDING

The enactment of the JOBS Act last spring changed 80-year-old securities laws and significantly expanded access to capital for startups and small businesses. Crowdfund Investing has massive potential to empower entrepreneurs but most don’t fully comprehend the implications yet. Sherwood Neiss, who brought the concept for Crowdfund Investing to Washington and serves as the Co-Chair of the Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA), will provide an comprehensive overview of Equity Crowdfunding.
