About This Workshop

If you are a small business or startup looking to build your brand awareness then social media is a great marketing tactic. It can also be great for market research, customer advocacy and of workshop to support your sales.

Chances are that budgets will be very tight - meaning everything you create in social media and the steps you take to build your presence will be free.

In this workshop, social media guru and General Assembly instructor Alison Battisby will offer best practices, strategies and actionable steps to enhancing your social media brand without spending any money (just your time).

Attendees must have a general familiarity with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Preparation

  • This class is taken completely online via Zoom.
  • We will provide a link to the session 24h before & again on the day of the class - keep an eye out in your inbox.

  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.

  • All communication will be sent to the email used to purchase a ticket. If you have signed up on behalf of a friend or colleague, please forward along this information. NOTE: this session will not be recorded, however, slides will be sent within 7 days following the class. Participants are also encouraged to download and save any shared materials during class for later reference.
