About This Workshop

Python is a versatile and widely-used programming language with many applications. This Bootcamp explores Python's place in the scientific ecosystem, and how the language can be used across all domains of programming. Designed as a stand-alone introduction to the language, this class emphasizes hands-on exercises that gradually build on one another to develop a deep understanding of the language’s fundamental concepts.

Students will leave the workshop with a healthy understanding of what the Python language is and how to use it to accomplish their programming goals. This class is great for students thinking of entering the Data Science Immersive or those using it for general purpose learning.
