About This Workshop
Whether you’re a designer, a developer, or an entrepreneur who’s looking to get your own company off the ground, knowing how to efficiently lead a team and complete a project is an essential element of success.
In this workshop, you’ll get an introduction to the project management processes that can help maximize your team’s performance. You’ll learn about the major project phases, and gain the tools and resources you’ll need to increase focus and improve your team’s productivity.

Preparation
Prior to the workshop, participants will receive a project worksheet. They will need to complete Section 1 of the worksheet, Describe Your Upcoming Project, before the start of class.
Participants will need to bring a laptop or writing materials to take notes with.

About the Instructor
Eve MacKnight Founder, Little Owl
Eve MacKnight served as Director of Project Management at ScrollMotion, a mobile app start-up that has published thousands of apps to iTunes since 2008. At ScrollMotion, she oversaw a bi-coastal team of 18 project managers. Prior to ScrollMotion, Eve was a producer and production manager for feature films, music videos and commercial projects. She has worked with Sesame Street, National Geographic, Disney, Warner Brothers, Sony, and the NFL. Eve is the Founder of LITTLE OWL, a consulting and training company that advises on how to manage digital projects. In addition to General Assembly, Eve teaches at Brooklyn Brainery. Eve is a certified Scrum Master. Eve loves corny jokes.
