This Project Management Bootcamp reviews the fundamentals and skills of project management. This class is a good place to start within project management education whether you’ve found yourself taking on a project management professional role in your organization or are looking for a career transition in the field.
In this program, you’ll get an introduction to the project management process and best project management training for interacting with the client, stakeholders and your project team. Throughout this class, you'll be working with real-world examples with your instructor; and gain the tools and resources of professionals that you’ll need to increase focus and improve the productivity of your project team.
General Assembly’s classes, workshops & events are for recreational purposes and are not regulated by the bureau of proprietary school supervision.
If this class is recorded, students will be sent the recording link within 7 days after class completion by email. Students are encouraged to download and save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.
This class has 15 minutes of required prework. Prework can be found here and at the bottom of your confirmation email.
Emily Landsman Creative Director and Industry Advisor
Emily Landsman is a Creative Director and Industry Advisor who currently runs a Global Fashion and Footwear consulting firm based out of the Boston Seaport; as well as an urban and fashion-inspired accessories brand, Shoe York City, LLC. She specializes in balancing editorial and commercial opportunities for growing brands; as well as making tech, art and fashion education more accessible to everyone.
After earning a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco (2008), Emily returned to New York City to work as a commercial Footwear Designer on brands such as Via Spiga, Vince Camuto, Diane Von Furstenberg, Alice + Olivia and Clarks.
