Whether you’re a designer, a developer, or an entrepreneur who’s looking to get your own company off the ground, knowing how to effectively lead a team and complete a project is an essential element of success.
This Project Management Bootcamp reviews the fundamentals and skills of project management. This class is a good place to start within project management education whether you’ve found yourself taking on a project management professional role in your organization or are looking for a career transition in the field.
In this program, you’ll get an introduction to the project management process and best project management training for interacting with the client, stakeholders and your project team. Throughout this class, you'll be working with real-world examples with your instructor; and gain the tools and resources of professionals that you’ll need to increase focus and improve the productivity of your project team.
General Assembly’s classes, workshops & events are for recreational purposes and are not regulated by the bureau of proprietary school supervision.
If this class is recorded, students will be sent the recording link within 7 days after class completion by email. Students are encouraged to download and save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.
Prior to the workshop, the participants will receive a project worksheet. They will need to complete Section 1 of the class material, and describe your upcoming project, before the start of this project management bootcamp. If you also have any specific challenges in mind with regards to current or past projects, please bring them to your training to discuss with your instructor!

Eve MacKnight served as Director of Project Management at ScrollMotion, a mobile app start-up that has published thousands of apps to iTunes since 2008. At ScrollMotion, she oversaw a bi-coastal team of 18 project managers. Prior to ScrollMotion, Eve was a producer for feature films and commercial projects. She has worked with Sesame Street, National Geographic, Disney, Warner Brothers, Sony, and the NFL. Eve is the Founder of LITTLE OWL, a training company that advises on how to manage digital projects.
Eve is also the current Director of Learning for SWARM, a digital product consulting agency. Eve is a certified Scrum Master. Eve loves corny jokes.
