About this event
There’s no shortage of product requests from internal stakeholders or customers. But how do you decide which ones to address, and when?
In this session, we’ll start by talking about how a product vision can help you make near- and mid-term prioritization decisions much easier. You’ll also learn different ways to express a product vision and how to balance your roadmap between strategic progress towards the vision, internal / customer requests and product health (tech debt, security, performance, etc). Then we’ll apply the concepts in an interactive session and make some prioritization decisions for your own product.

About the Speaker: Rajesh Nerlikar is a startup product advisor who’s advised 20 different startups across industries and product stages. Prior to becoming an advisor, Rajesh worked at Accenture, started his own company, worked as a PM at Opower prior to their IPO, ran the product team at HelloWallet after Morningstar acquired them, and served as the Director of Workplace Products at Morningstar, where he managed a $40M product portfolio and a team of 20 in Chicago and DC.
