About this class

Podcasts are bigger than ever now, from Serial to Radiolab to WTF with Marc Maron. In fact, a recent Pew Research Center study stated that about a third of all Americans have now listened to at least one podcast. Which means there's never been a better time to launch your own podcast. This course will teach you how.

Veteran podcaster Jaime Black (Dynasty Podcasts) will demonstrate how to launch your own podcast, from determining the focus and length of your programming, to showcasing recording and editing techniques, to presenting production and promotion methods. Black will draw from his own experience as a podcaster of ten years and a broadcaster of almost twenty years. Session will also examine case studies from the podcasting industry at large.

Over the course of two hours, the process of producing and publishing your own podcast will be demystified. Upon leaving, attendees will be ready to embark on their own podcasting journey.

This class is ideal for aspiring and beginning podcast creators.
