About This Workshop

Through guided discussions, interactive explorations, and group exercises (physical, vocal, intellectual), you will learn how to develop good presence and creative presentation skills in order to better engage and influence clients and colleagues. The topics, tips, and techniques covered will serve as a useful foundation for any kind of persuasive or creative presentation.

This workshop is designed to be highly practical in its applications and appropriately playful in its methods. Illustrative examples will be drawn from the instructor’s own experience and Atlanta-based brands, as well as supplied by the class. Helpful resources and tools will be provided as support for in-class exercises as well as for your future use.

About the Instructor

Molly Dickinson is the owner and creator of mdash, a freelance copywriting and messaging strategy company based in Atlanta. She earned her BA in English with concentrations in Creative Writing and Literature from Elon University (her honor’s thesis was in poetry), and has worked as a writer ever since. To date, her career spans freelance and full-time professional roles in journalism, communications, editing, marketing and advertising. In 2010 she co-founded Loose Change, Wonderroot arts organization’s all-volunteer literary magazine, serving as its poetry editor and later managing editor for four years. In addition to sharing her devotion to great writing, Molly loves exploring the world on foot, eating and making delicious things, yoga, school and surprises.
