About this event

Ever thought to yourself, “I really wish I could do X, but I’m afraid Y will happen,...”? We all have professional goals, but sometimes fear makes those goals feel unattainable. Whether it’s speaking up more in team meetings, going for that promotion, taking the risk of making a career change, pitching an unconventional project to your boss, or making a presentation in front of your company. We can visualize it happening, but fear keeps us from taking those first steps to get there. The good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way, and you have all the resources you need to drive yourself forward.

The key to living the lives we want doesn’t lie in eliminating fear. The key to living the lives we want lies in developing a better relationship with our fear, so that we can recognize it, respond to it accordingly, and move towards our goals with a renewed sense of agency.

Join educator, writer, and storyteller Haley Donovan in an evening of exploring how to diffuse fear in our professional lives, develop strategies to navigate our relationship with fear, and how to use the science and psychology of fear to our advantage in pursuing the lives we dream about.
