These days it can feel like you are constantly sending your resume off into the digital void, never to be heard from again. And even when you do get your resume to a human, on average they only look at it for 6 seconds! In this workshop, we will help you construct a resume that will get the attention of recruiters and maximize your chances of landing an interview. We will start by demystifying those online applications and help you optimize your resume for employers' systems. Then it's time to dive into the resume itself and make sure you are well-positioned for the roles you want. We will help you craft an enticing summary and ensure your bullet points showcase your expertise in a way that's compelling.
This will be a 1-hour workshop led by an expert speaker, along with some networking opportunities after the workshop concludes.
Understand how applicant tracking systems work and how to maximize your success with them. Determine how you need to best position your resume to get attention. Craft a powerful summary statement and revamp your experience bullet points to best position you for the role.
