About This Workshop

“Mental health is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realises his or her own potential.” World Health Organisation

Understanding and ‘playing to your strengths’ has been shown to improve mental and physical health leading to enhanced performance, stronger relationships and greater life satisfaction. Despite this evidence, 60% of individuals are unaware of their key personal strengths, how to cultivate them or how to work with others to balance and optimise strengths.

Join us for this 3h interactive session, created and facilitated by the mental fitness guru Charlotte Wiseman, and walk away inspired, focused and confident, ready to put your strengths into action.

This practical workshop includes:

STEP 1: AWARENESS

By exploring strengths, talents, skills and values, we will learn to identify strengths in ourselves and others as well as practice how to communicate these effectively for enhanced health, productivity and collective resilience.

STEP 2: GROWTH

Understanding over and under-use of strengths enables us to start to use our strengths more effectively to reduce stress, promote clarity of thought and enhance wellbeing. We will also learn how to work more effectively with those around us through collaborative strength.

STEP 3: INTEGRATION

To conclude this session we will learn how we can all harness and cultivate our strengths on a daily basis to enhance our quality of life, overcome challenges & grow stronger every day.

About the Instructor

Mental Fitness and Leadership Consultant

Charlotte Wiseman is a positive organisational psychology consultant and trainer known for her pioneering work in the field of mental fitness.

Since 2010 she has been combines her pioneering research with her personal experience to embed wellbeing into the culture of organisations – enhancing engagement, reducing burnout and improving staff retention.

It was her own journey overcoming chronic stress, anxiety and depression that first led her to explore mindfulness and positive psychology in 2009. The changes she experienced were so inspiring that she left her long standing career in the fashion industry to pursue an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology and Mental Health First Aid Trainer qualifications.

A member of the British Psychological Society and International Positive Psychology Association, she has been featured in the Journal of Public Mental Health and is leading the way for bringing the parity of esteem into the workplace.
