About This Class

When you hear the word networking, it's easy to think of all the terrible things that seemingly go with it: it's awkward, boring, and selfish. As an introvert, it can feel even worse. And yet, 70% of jobs are found through networking and it's a vital part to establishing new relationships.

Luckily, networking doesn't have to be a horrendous, intimidating experience. This interactive presentation will share everything you need to know to carry on a conversation with anyone, anywhere. While it may not make you fall in love with small talk, it will teach you how to do it better while managing your energy throughout the process.

Takeaways

  • The 3-step process to talking to anyone at any time.
  • The 3N Rule for making networking events successful.
  • Tips for engaging in meaningful conversation that isn't boring or awkward.
  • How to enter (and exit) conversations gracefully.
  • How to manage your energy for successful networking events.
