Be immersed in the landscape of innovative business models that are driving organizations and entrepreneurs forward. Through this intense 2.5 hour session, participants will be introduced to the latest tools and design practices leveraged by leading "business designers" – practitioners who work with clients to invent sustainable business models. With an emphasis on game-based learning, participants will be thrown into a deep-dive that will give practitioners and enthusiasts of all levels of experience a great framework for approaching real-world problems using business design. The class will culminate in each participant working to design their own unique business model for a real organization. Instructional topics include: business model design, innovation techniques, business plan development, and game-based learning experiences.
Students do not need to have any experience in business plan writing, but familiarity with business models at a very high-level is encouraged. No software or laptop is needed, but a notepad is necessary.
