You’ve made it to the interview stage. Here’s the catch: it’s virtual. With in-person interviews becoming a rare occurrence due to the pandemic, learning how to adapt to digital modes has become an imperative skill. Contrary to what some might expect, virtual interviews are no easier than in-person interviews. There are many new factors to take into account to nail your interview, from choosing the right environment to having the right equipment to make a stellar first impression.

When she isn’t hosting workshops or coaching, you can find Lea with her Husband and daughter gardening or taking on a new house project in Kensington, MD.

Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warrior Project is a charitable organization that helps veterans and active duty service members. It is one of the largest veterans service organizations in the United States with office locations and partners across the country.

Veterans Florida

Veterans Florida is a non-profit created by the State of Florida to help military veterans transition to civilian life and to promote Florida’s status as the nation’s most veteran-friendly state. Veterans Florida provides powerful tools for veterans to take advantage of the benefits of living and working in the Sunshine State.

Through our Career Services Program, we connect veterans with employers who are eager to hire veterans for jobs that put their particular military skills to use. We also assist veterans in creating a winning resume and preparing for job interviews. Employers receive veteran recruiting assistance and may apply for our Workforce Training Grant.
