Our focus will be on:
- Education on Blockchain - how does it work?
- What is it like to work in a male-dominated space and how do we create space for more women?
- Meeting other women in the space/interested in being involved
- Meeting collaborators and women to work with on Blockchain/crypto

- 6:30-7:00PM | Welcome/Introduction: Registration, appetizers, wine
- 7:00-7:25 PM | Share Your Story
- 7:25-7:45 PM | Q&A and Discussion: Anything you want to ask about working as a female developer in a traditionally male-dominated field (Or about growing an awesome garden!).
- 7:45-8:30 PM | Networking: We will have wine to help you ;)
About our Speaker: Rachel Shelton
Rachel is a full stack developer with a focus on the API, working at Radar Relay. She is passionate about working with data and creating visualizations. In her free time, she experiments with permaculture in her garden and runs her own business connecting junior developers with experienced professionals for mentoring.
As this will be the first of many events we plan, we are very excited and are looking to create a space everyone feels welcomed, learns, and supports each other. Feel free to reach out to Juwon if you have any concerns or questions.
