Running a successful software development team can be tough, especially if you're understaffed. Outsourcing some of the work (domestically or abroad) can be a great way to expand a team's bandwidth, bring in specialized skills, and parallelize development. But it also brings its own challenges - how do you find the right talent, get them up to speed quickly, manage them successfully, and ensure quality?

This class will walk through that process, and also look at some tricks of the trade that students can take and apply to their own teams.
