About this event

In today's digital age, learning to produce electronic music can be an extremely handy tool in a musicians toolbox. For those completely unfamiliar with it however, it can be a highly elusive one. Learning what is required from a gear and software perspective can at times be an overwhelming process. Xylo Aria, founder of Music Production for Women, is however dedicated to breaking down these barriers and encouraging musicians, particularly women who make up a tiny 5% of music producers, to empower themselves.

In this event you will learn how to navigate a production software (Ableton Live) and also how to create a simple beat in an encouraging and supportive environment. Whether you want to start producing your own music, learn a few terms to have more informed conversations with your producers or just want to see how a lot of music is created these days, this is the evening for you!
