Decisions are everywhere in business: when to launch a new product? Should we enter that market? Which potential clients should we target? Even if you have the best product and the best team, decisions can make or break your company. Fortunately, you don’t need to have an MBA or a PhD to make better decisions. In the last twenty years, psychology and cognitive sciences have discovered that people making decisions tend to make the same, predictable mistakes, whatever the object of the decision. In this course, we’ll see a few rules of thumb that will allow you to avoid these mistakes and radically improve your decision-making skills.
No prerequisites, just bring something to take notes. This course is focused on practical and applicable information, not theoretical learning. If you want to gain the most from this workshop, you can write down in advance one or two important decisions you’ll have to make in the future and you’d like to get right.
