MAFDET Forums: Us vs Them or Nah? (Improving Community & Police Relations) | Atlanta

About this event

This event will serve as a community conversation as well as an informational session for our organization MAFDET Inc. We aim to tackle one of the current issues in our community through this event by hosting a panel conversation with the topic "Improving Community and Police Relations". Our panel will consist of government officials, police officers, & community organization leaders. Our target audience is passionate individuals who are driven to initiate positive change in the Atlanta community. The goals for this program are to increase awareness of MAFDET Inc, increase knowledge on current community issues, and to work on a valid solution to the police and community relations issue. This event aims to kick-start community involvement with several additional programs that we have planned for the year.
