About this event

The Los Angeles WebVR Meetup brings designers, developers and Ux specialists interested in the emerging world of Web-based Virtual Reality. WebVR is a JavaScript API which allows web designers and devs to create VR experiences directly in the browser via standard design and development technologies. The goal of the Meetup is to introduce the web community to their "on-ramp" into VR, and provide tutorials and resources for creating and coding VR experiences in the browser for Google Cardboard/Daydream, Samsung Gear VR, and web browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, Microsoft Edge, and the new Oculus Caramel VR browser.

First 30 minutes - presentation on WebVR
- Second 30 minutes, short tutorial for creating WebVR via A-Frame and "vanilla" JavaScript plus a 3D library
