In this class, you'll learn how to:
Basic understanding of social media including blogging. Experience with Hootsuite and Microsoft Excel would ideal, but are not required. Basic technical aptitude and orientation to computers, and curiosity to learn new tools.
This class is held online so you will need a computer and a strong internet connection.
Preparation: To get the most out of the class, please come with a short description of the niche you are targeting with your products or services and why they want to buy them from you.

Terry Rice is a Digital Marketing trainer and business coach based in Brooklyn. His previous experience includes helping clients achieve their marketing goals while working at Adobe and Facebook.
Terry has been been a featured speaker at industry events including Social Media Week and SXSW. He's also a VIP contributor and Digital Marketing Expert-in-Residence for Entrepreneur magazine.
As the founder of Terry Rice Consulting, he helps clients identify the audiences, platforms and tactics aligned with efficiently reaching their desired campaign and growth goals. During his career, he’s consulted hundreds of organizations including Walmart, Bonobos, Warby Parker, Revlon and BarkBox. In addition to working with established businesses, he also serves as a startup mentor at organizations including Techstars and the New York University Entrepreneurial Institute.
Terry holds an MBA from the University at Buffalo with a dual concentration in Marketing and Management Consulting. His areas of focus include Social Media, Campaign Planning & Optimization and Strategic Business Coaching.
In recognition of his exemplary service in the classroom, Terry has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.
